The New Year opened with a suprise gas leak repair and hot water heater replacement. We survived 12 days without heat or hot water; boiling water for all our hot water needs and wearing lots of extra layers. We were really fond of the borrowed electric blankets!
Darin and Jaryn assembled a rocket and launched it. This was a very big deal; the last rocket launched but never came back! We are happy to report that we still have this rocket.
Josey lost her first tooth. She was SUPER excited that the tooth fairy would visit her; finally!
Rylie discovered finger painting. She had the time of her life and she did a great job mixing paints.
Rylie wanted to count her money. She lined every coin on the stairs of the ladder to her bed.
Tiffany still can't believe that she actually found time to sew her curtains. She has made three sets of curtains to replace broken blinds in our home. This set hangs in the master bedroom; she had a lot of fun building and creating her own curtain rod. Darin loved helping her. It was a fun project and we love the results.
Can you tell Josey is having the time of her life at school? She most recently celebrated 100 days of school, they are learning about plants and insects, and she came home dressed as a personal valentine.
Rylie couldn't resist trying on Josey's 100 days costume.
Look who turned 40! Happy Birthday Darin. We celebrated at home quietly as a family; he had a wonderful day. He recieved some favorite food items that rarely show up in our home anymore. He is also into building and working with his forge. He was super excited to receive appropriate clothing that will keep him safer....Tiffany worries about him playing with high heat and fire.
Quincy performed a song on her recorder for a talant show. She did a great job.
Caitlyn was recently inducted into the National Junior Honor Society at her school. She has worked very hard in middle school. Good job Caitlyn - We are very proud of you!
