Wrapping up 2010...Moving into 2011
As 2010 came to a close Quincy and Tiffany celebrated their birthdays - Quincy turned 8 years old...Tiffany did not!
Grandpa & Grandma Law came for a visit. They stayed until January 2, 2011. We visited the San Xavier del Bac Mission.
We also visited the Botanical Gardens with Grandpa and Grandma Law. The weather was beautiful while Grandpa and Grandma were here.
Quincy was baptized on January 1st.
She was especially excited to have Grandpa and Grandma Law at her baptism.
She looked beautiful in her white dress. This was Tiffany's final sewing project before going on strike.
Just before we sent our letter out, two big changes took place in our home. Tiffany was released as a CTR 5 primary teacher and called to serve as the Primary Secretary. This is her most favorite calling and she is happy to serve in this capacity again. The other change is our diaper status. Rylie has done it; she is potty trained!! Twelve years and four months, straight...no breaks at any point, of changing diapers has come to a close for us. We are done and that is a good feeling!
And finally...as Tiffany was preparing this blog post our dog started going bonkers. Darin went outside to check things out and found two javalinas walking through our neighborhood; in and out of everybody's yards. This is a first for us so it is pretty exciting. It was too dark to take a picture.
Happy New Year to you all!
